Santacruzan sa Parian 2009
Cebuana zagalas in Filipiniana will parade through the historical Cebu’s old Parian district on May 31 for the Santacruzan sa Parian. This is in culmination of the Flores de Mayo (literally means Flowers of May), a Filipino festival celebrated to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The mass for the Santacruzan sa Parian will be held at 2:30 pm in the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. The gowns to be worn by the zagalas are the creations of Didi Araneta, Carl Minoza, Marlowe Daules, Marlon Wafer, Harvey Cenit, Leonardo Igloria, Jonas Navarro, and Peewee Senining while photography will be by Paul Gotiong.
