Harley Ruedas: More than just design
More than a decade of experience in the Cebuano fashion industry, Harley Ruedas is a self-named brand and is one of the top selling local labels when it comes to ready to wear both for men and women – true not only to the Visayas but also in Mindanao. Ruedas, however, is most known and has become most reputable for its elegant or classy designs of evening and bridal gowns.

Celso Pepito: Cebuano Cubist
In Mr. Celso Pepito’s works you don’t only see beauty, you feel their heart, you feel their Filipino sentimentality and values, and you know his pieces’ aim is not to impress but to express, inspire, and tell a story.
Paying tribute is a common theme of his paintings and exhibits and this gesture alone is proof of his humility, that he owes his talent to years of tedious experience, to many people in his past and present, and ultimately to Someone greater.

Fashion House of Maria Elena, Cebu
Cebu is also home of countless artists and fashion is no stranger to this southern haven. There’s Jun Escario, Harley Ruedas, Arcy Gayatin to mention a few. And then, there’s Maria Elena.
A model herself in her younger years (casting in BENCH shows in Cebu as one of the major appearances), Maria Elena already has the heart for fashion and couture. She was always fascinated not only with glamor and style, but most often by the amount of hard work, creativity, and thought in designing clothes and dresses.

Unlike other beaches around Cebu, Tingko beach offers the lowest prices especially in accommodation. An overnight stay at one of the known resorts could only cost you a fraction of what you have to pay when you are on the other side of the town. Price may seem to be the gauge for quality, but here, you will definitely get more than what you pay for.

There’s no better way to support the local bands in Cebu than going to their gigs. Among the famous places where you can find the local talents playing is in The Outpost. It is located at 975-A Veteran’s Drive Lahug, Cebu City, just less than an hour taxi ride from Cebu’s downtown area. One good thing about this place is not having any cover charge in all its events, so you can just visit the place and listen to Cebuano music free of charge. Here you will find famous bands like Junior Kilat just to name one.
The Outpost, Cebu’s Local Hangout
The Outpost is also a nice place to chill, they have food and alcoholic beverages to make the night more fun as you listen to Cebu’s very own talents. Cebu’s Outdoor trekkers also gather here, so if you want to try an outdoor adventure, this is a good place to start. The ambiance is also exceptional for a bar, not to classy, but perfect for anyone who are expecting a great time.

The bustling streets of Cebu only show how it has developed through the years. With the Spanish colonization decades ago who would have thought that this city would come this far. The elders are known to be very meticulous and conservative, which became a huge block for change. As years passed by, modernization hit Cebu without a choice and instantly converted into a major player in the Philippine economy. Malls and business establishments began sprouting like mushrooms and industrialization has never stopped since then.
Cebu like other cities in the Philippines is rich with natural resources from white sand beaches to picturesque mountains. No wonder the Spaniards took hold of the Philippines during those times even other countries were very interested to grab this small island in Asia. As years passed by Cebu went on with the trend realizing that change is the way to prosperity.
