Pacquiao-Barrera II: A Cebuano's view

Here we are again. The awaited showdown of two of the strongest and finest boxers today is set to trade blows this coming October 6, 2007 (Oct. 7 in Philippine-time) at the Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for the WBC International Super Featherweight Title. People in the Philippines are also geared up to watch these two brawlers go all-out on the ring via live and delayed telecast on home television or the big screen.

The Pacquiao-Barrera II has been in the works for quite some time now and it’s quite relieving that the fight is finally here in just a little less than 48 hours. And I’m pretty sure that the Filipinos, especially the Cebuanos, are going to stay glued to their TVs in Sunday morning.
