The Outpost, Cebu’s Local Hangout
There’s no better way to support the local bands in Cebu than going to their gigs. Among the famous places where you can find the local talents playing is in The Outpost. It is located at 975-A Veteran’s Drive Lahug, Cebu City, just less than an hour taxi ride from Cebu’s downtown area. One good thing about this place is not having any cover charge in all its events, so you can just visit the place and listen to Cebuano music free of charge. Here you will find famous bands like Junior Kilat just to name one.
The Outpost is also a nice place to chill, they have food and alcoholic beverages to make the night more fun as you listen to Cebu’s very own talents. The ambiance is also exceptional for a bar, not to classy, but perfect for anyone who are expecting a great time.
Cebu as a Developing City
The bustling streets of Cebu only show how it has developed through the years. With the Spanish colonization decades ago who would have thought that this city would come this far. The elders are known to be very meticulous and conservative, which became a huge block for change. As years passed by, modernization hit Cebu without a choice and instantly converted into a major player in the Philippine economy. Malls and business establishments began sprouting like mushrooms and industrialization has never stopped since then.

Cebu like other cities in the Philippines is rich with natural resources from white sand beaches to picturesque mountains. No wonder the Spaniards took hold of the Philippines during those times even other countries were very interested to grab this small island in Asia. As years passed by Cebu went on with the trend realizing that change is the way to prosperity.
