The Terraces At Ayala Center Cebu
->
It was about a couple of year ago when Ayala Center Cebu closed down the lagoon side for reconstruction. Unlike other renovations or reconstructions from other establishments around town, this had the element of surprise tagging along it. It was covered from every inch, so that mall goers would ask about what’s really going on at that side of the mall as they pass by and as they remember the old look of the lagoon, which some people wished to see again. That new part was named the “The Terraces”, and that’s just about the only information people knew.
As time passed mall goers got used to that covered construction site and became more eager to see the results. When the big day came, I happen to be at the Ayala Center without any hint that it was the unraveling of “The Terraces”.
Mactan Island Aquarium
Mactan Island Aquarium is another new must visit place in Cebu Philippines. The newest attraction features a wide variety of fishes that showcases the abundance of resources in the country. This will take you into an exciting tour underwater, which was only available in some other countries years back. Luckily, Mr. Dylan Taylor, a British Marine Biologist who also married a Filipina took a huge appreciation of the rich marine resource and made this aquarium possible.

Unlike other beaches around Cebu, Tingko beach offers the lowest prices especially in accommodation. An overnight stay at one of the known resorts could only cost you a fraction of what you have to pay when you are on the other side of the town. Price may seem to be the gauge for quality, but here, you will definitely get more than what you pay for.
Scuba Diving at Panagsama Beach Moalboal Cebu
Cebu houses some of the best beaches in the Philippines or even around the world. If you are in love with what’s underneath the sea, you should go to Panagsama Beach Moalboal Cebu. It is a 3-4 hour land trip from Cebu City going south. The long hours may seem to give you second thoughts in going to the location, but wait until you discover what awaits you in this famous province in Cebu.
Among the top 10 dive sites in the Philippines is Panagsama Beach Moalboal Cebu. Foreigners and locals consider this as one of the perfect dive sites in the world because of what’s hidden underneath the sea. Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House in Cebu
The Yap-Sandiego ancestral house is located at 155-Lopez Jaena corner Mabini Street in Cebu’s Parian, just a few steps away from the Parian Monument. Considered to be one of the oldest, if not the oldest, residential houses in the Philippines, it was built sometime between 1675 and 1700. It was originally owned by Maria, Eleutorio, and Consolacion Yap – early Chinese merchants.

Barili’s Pride: Mantayupan Waterfalls
Mantayupan Waterfalls stays humble though it is considered as one of the tallest waterfalls in Cebu. Standing at around 200 feet with a minor waterfall at 90, the sight and the sound of splashing water will make you believe it is a true gift from heaven. Adding to that are the misty feel and the cool breeze that is no short than refreshing and relaxing.

Only a few locals Cebu are actually aware of the existence of a wonderful water form in that southern town Barili. Perhaps because in 1985 (until more than ten years later), it was closed down during or after the construction of a hydroelectric plant using the Mantayupan Falls to increase the capacity of the Cebu Electric Cooperative I.
Cebu Resorts: Hilton Cebu Resort and Spa

Cebu Resorts: Hilton Cebu Resort and Spa
The incoming 2008 Kentucky Derby has been all around the Internet news. Of course, it is going to be a lovely week for horse racing fanatics, who will congregate at Louisvile, Kentucky, USA. That sure is something to look forward too, especially for a friend of mine who recently gave me his opinion about one of the spectacular resorts in Cebu, the Hilton Cebu Resort and Spa.
I was doing my rounds in the Internet actually and had to reserve a seat for the incoming movie, Iron Man, but found rather disturbing news about Dennis Rodman, former player of San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls. I wish him good luck though. continue reading » »

A weekend is not complete without the believed relaxation that most people think about. There are malling, shopping, watching movies, Sunday television shows, and others. To most people though, these “relaxations” are after they visit the church. I, myself, am able to recognize this fascination that most of us experience, especially when we want to relax. And relaxing would mean to be entertained, or to just enjoy something worth it, or unwind from a tedious weekday. continue reading » »

Marine Village Dive Shop
What do you know? It’s already March. And that means we have a few weeks away from experiencing yet another fabulous summer, or should I say looking for cover from that heat, or, basking under the shade of a tree in a beautiful beach. Of course, it wouldn’t be fun if we all just sit there and enjoy the stunning stroke of beauty across the horizon that simply gives away the exquisite beauty of nature. That simply is a literature, I suppose. continue reading » »
