Barili’s Pride: Mantayupan Waterfalls
Mantayupan Waterfalls stays humble though it is considered as one of the tallest waterfalls in Cebu. Standing at around 200 feet with a minor waterfall at 90, the sight and the sound of splashing water will make you believe it is a true gift from heaven. Adding to that are the misty feel and the cool breeze that is no short than refreshing and relaxing.

Only a few locals Cebu are actually aware of the existence of a wonderful water form in that southern town Barili. Perhaps because in 1985 (until more than ten years later), it was closed down during or after the construction of a hydroelectric plant using the Mantayupan Falls to increase the capacity of the Cebu Electric Cooperative I.

Cebu Resorts: Hilton Cebu Resort and Spa
The incoming 2008 Kentucky Derby has been all around the Internet news. Of course, it is going to be a lovely week for horse racing fanatics, who will congregate at Louisvile, Kentucky, USA. That sure is something to look forward too, especially for a friend of mine who recently gave me his opinion about one of the spectacular resorts in Cebu, the Hilton Cebu Resort and Spa.
I was doing my rounds in the Internet actually and had to reserve a seat for the incoming movie, Iron Man, but found rather disturbing news about Dennis Rodman, former player of San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls. I wish him good luck though. continue reading » »

And relaxing would mean to be entertained, or to just enjoy something worth it, or unwind from a tedious weekday. continue reading » »

Marine Village Dive Shop
What do you know? It’s already March. Of course, it wouldn’t be fun if we all just sit there and enjoy the stunning stroke of beauty across the horizon that simply gives away the exquisite beauty of nature. That simply is a literature, I suppose. continue reading » »

Fort San Pedro

Fort San Pedro
One of the least well known historical sites of Cebu would be Fort San Pedro located in the Pier Area. Though it doesn’t get as much promotion as the Magellan’s church or Sto. Nino church, it is still a place you can visit to learn more about the history of Cebu. continue reading » »
2008 Calender: Sinulog
Sinulog 2008
First thing I can remember when it comes to Sinulog festival was when I was in my high school in 1998. At that time, I was a member of our school drum and bugle corps, which is one of the most memorable experiences that I can’t stop thinking about. It actually made a rather nostalgic moment whenever I see these lads pounding and beating the drums, blowing their bugles together with those lively dancers. continue reading » »
