New Year’s resolutions don’t come easy. Of course, we all know how to make a list, think of something that is attainable-exercise and low carbs perhaps-or even cleaning the inside of your computer every week or month. Actually, I tried those last year and it didn’t shrink into my mind after Sinulog 2007.

Well, this year, I look for some things that are doable, like posting a lot here, doing my work, buy something every payday for myself and a road trip in either going to Northern or Southern Cebu (been planning for this since last year). Unfortunately, I don’t have a car or a motorcycle (heck, I don’t want to go road tripping alone) and it would be eons away for me to have one. You know bills, loans, mortgage and anything else.

Sure, you’ll never know where your pay went to until you know it’s already gone. How ironic.

Anyway, renting a car is the perfect choice but car rental in Cebu is something that is just trying to get a hold of its clients. Simply put, car rental in Cebu is struggling to get into the industry and that’s why only a few (or two) have taken their business into new heights. Moreover, those few Cebu car rental hubs that I’m talking about is way out of my budget but it would certainly be worth it since it would be a lot of fun.

So, I took a nosedive into the Internet to find myself with a limited list provided by them search engines. After several tweaking of keywords, I was able to grasp a few good spots for renting a car for my road trip. Here are some of them:

Not a long list though but there are actually more of these Cebu car rentals that are available here in the metropolis because most of them don’t have websites yet. Some of them are also affiliated with several Cebu beach resorts that are tasked to pickup/dropoff passengers from the airport to their destination, or vice versa.

Oh well, I guess now I have a handful of these Cebu car rentals on my list so all I have to do now is check out their rates and look into a fun-filled road trip with my friends.
