Cebu Hotels: St. Moritz Hotel

Not all hotels in Cebu crave for a one-dimensional market. There are actually Cebu hotels that cater to one particular category. Be it by travelers, vacationers, locals or business-related, some of these hotels are strategically located in Cebu City where accessibility is convenient. Moreover, there are quite a few hotels in Cebu that have established this concept and have maintained its quality to a specific target and have stayed there for how many years.

One prime example would St. Moritz Hotel. Now, I have met someone who has been visiting Cebu quite often and ever since he stayed at St. Moritz Hotel, he fell in love with the place. I’m not sure if he tried other Cebu hotels before, or even some of the best beach resorts in Cebu, but he’s quite proud about St. Moritz’ capability to continue its impressive service.

One particular factor that he enjoyed at St. Moritz is its subtle ambiance. I have known people who are indeed impressed when it comes to the whole feel of a certain place, especially with hotels. Back to the subject, it is rather a simple and quiet place where everyone can definitely relax in a large Deluxe room. Though there are some parts of the building that needs fixing.

The food is also excellent and oftentimes though, there can be a lot of people who wants to try out the best serving as well as other options on the menu. The L’Oasis Garden, particularly, gave him the best impression, but the main restaurant is not to be taken lightly either. Either local or international dishes, St. Moritz Hotel give guests an impression of an overall quality.

For those who crave for nightlife, there is actually a pub located next to it. For those who crave for a good night sleep, the pub located next to it could be a hindrance to a relaxing doze.

An advantage when it comes to staying at St. Moritz Hotel is the accessibility to business-related concerns. This is so since most guests are often businessmen who want to stay in a simple yet relaxing atmosphere. It’s close to the Ayala Business Park and some other important business landmarks in the city. However, he noted that the volume of the traffic can be merciless, especially in the afternoons. Or, you can even shop at Ayala Center Cebu, SM City and Gaisano Country Mall .

Wi-fi internet connection is available at St. Moritz Hotel and you can go online, talk with friends or business partners while having a drink with the now available German Weissbier. I have not tried that though, but maybe one day.

Breakfast is not free, which would fall under the downside category. But, overall, St. Moritz Hotel is one fine hotel in Cebu that has maintained its value for years.
