Christmas in Cebu: Night Bazaar at Banilad Town Center
Shopping would be the first-thing that comes to mind for Cebuanos when Christmas time comes in Cebu, especially during the months of October and November. Why is that so? It’s because Cebuanos keep in mind the handy time that they need for them to prepare everything just in time for Christmas.
However, there are those that are preoccupied by certain businesses and may never get to spend time to look for those gift ideas for their family and friends. I, myself, am one of those people who are “late” in buying something for my loved ones. Well, actually, I just found out this Christmas Nights Bazaar in Banilad Town Center and would be delighted to spend a night there this week.
After all, the opening of the said bazaar starts in the afternoon all the way to 12 midnight. It’s actually a convenient time for me since I’m close to Banilad Town Center plus, I heard, it’s a unique type of “flea market”, or tiangge, since there are a lot of promotions and entertainment.
Market
It’s always great to know that every Christmas is filled with new ideas and opportunities to take a tour around town. This Christmas Nights Bazaar in Banilad Town Center is just one of those events that are held for the month of December alone. This is, after all, derived from the very popular night markets in the capital, Manila, and is scheduled to take Cebuanos (and their pockets) by storm. I, however, would be delighted to see a lot of selections and see when and where will that take me since most of the Cebuanos tend to pick something that gives worth of what they are paying for.
Well, who doesn’t? It’s not simply about spending all time and money just because it’s the holidays, for me, it’s something that would make us think about what would be the best thing/s we can give to someone.
Anyway, other than the night bazaar, Banilad Town Center also offers different forms of promotional activities and entertainment for the whole month of December.
I guess I’m not too late for me to go there.
