IMAX is Coming to Cebu
The moment I heard that Imax is coming to Cebu, I couldn’t help but cross my fingers that it will come so soon. SM City Cebu is currently working on an IMAX theater and will make it available to the moviegoers late this 2008 or in 2009. The theater has been anticipated for so long by movie buffs in Cebu. Many have been patiently waiting to try perhaps the best theater experience to date.
IMAX is famous for its surreal digital projector giving moviegoers twice the experience than that of a typical theater. It can play a motion picture either in 2D or in stunning 3D projection as if you are part of the movie. There is a huge difference between the typical film projectors than the digital projectors used by IMAX in terms of picture quality. The Surround Sound system is far more exceptional than that of the typical theater.
IMAX is definitely coming to Cebu and there is no stopping it. Moviegoers can now enjoy the most awaited movies at an out of this world movie experience. Although the price may seem a bit higher, you will not fail to get your money’s worth. All we have to do now is count down the days to a new transition to high quality digital movies.
