Island Souvenirs launches its new brand of apparel, the Philippine Islands, P.i. This is in line with its advocacy for civic engagement and responsibility by inspiring Filipinos nationalism and love for country.

The Event: Rock Your Pride

Following the brand’s slogan Wear Your Pride, the launching will be a post-Independence Day concert entitled Rock Your Pride to be held at The Outpost in Lahug, Cebu on June 13, 2009 at 8pm. The event is a Kalye Music Production with performances by Powerspoonz, The Line Divides, Pandora and Mungkanghan.

The P.i. Brand

The Philippine Islands or P.i. line will present modern designs that express nationalism: typography of our Filipino heroes’ unforgettable words and the elements of our very own Philippine flag on the apparel. “Wear Your Pride” will be a first step towards manifesting more tangible actions of patriotism or love for the country.

Island Souvenirs had chosen 20 personalities who have excelled in different fields like music, sports, arts, film, education, civic movement, among others to model not only the apparel but also Island Souvenirs’ nationalistic movement itself. These personalities are:
