Mactan Island Aquarium

Mactan Island Aquarium is another new must visit place in Cebu Philippines. The newest attraction features a wide variety of fishes that showcases the abundance of resources in the country. This will take you into an exciting tour underwater, which was only available in some other countries years back. Luckily, Mr. Dylan Taylor, a British Marine Biologist who also married a Filipina took a huge appreciation of the rich marine resource and made this aquarium possible.

The Mactan Island Aquarium is located at Barangay Basak, which is just a few minutes away from the airport and the City proper.

As you get inside the underwater aquarium you will be accompanied by a Marine Biologists giving you useful information about each of the marine life exhibits. You can see sharks, seahorses, octopus and all types of fishes that are found in the Philippines. This is also a great place to hold educational tours. The Kid wills surely love the place.

If you want a fun filled tour, you should drop by the Mactan Island Aquarium. It took some time before someone could put a place like this in Cebu. There should be more tourist destinations that are as unique and as exciting as this.
