Cebu: SotoGrande Hotel and Resort 

Beach resorts are increasingly getting attention nowadays, especially when it comes to room accommodations in Cebu. For years, the development of Cebu beach resorts has garnered a large volume of foreigners and visitors because of constant room additions. The recent development was in Lapu-Lapu City, wherein a new hotel is scheduled to become fully operational this early November. 

The SotoGrande Hotel and Resort was established by the renowned Sta. Lucia Realty Development Inc., which has always been steady in the real estate field. The new hotel had its inauguration last October 21, 2007 as the latest addition to the Vista Mar property located in Barangay Dapdap, Lapu-Lapu City. This is indeed enticing for those aspiring visitors who simply want to take a break from a hectic schedule. 

SotoGrande Hotel and Resort’s target market is the ever-hard working Filipino overseas workers and foreigners who fancies living or owning a property here in
Cebu. 

Condominium units 

The nine-storey SotoGrande Hotel and Resort is located right behind the popular Vista Mar Beach Resort and Country Club. One major factor that I read about SotoGrande is that not only they have hotel rooms but also houses plus residential condominium units ready for accommodation as well. Darn, I would love to just get out of my office and enjoy beach resorts or hotels like this. 

77 hotel units, a karaoke lounge where visitors can exercise their vocal cords, ballrooms for those upbeat legs as well as a restaurant that can fill those tummies. Alternatively, the 7^th and 9^th floors have 48 residential condo units ready to be filled up. 

Reservations 

The SotoGrande Hotel and Resort has a rate of 3-star accommodations with the Mediterranean-inspired design of both the interior and exterior of the building. As of November 5, the hotel has already started accepting bookings from several guests that include 80% Koreans. 

Incoming projects 

Aside from the latest launching of SotoGrande Hotel and Resort, the Sta. Lucia Realty are preparing once again to build another hotel and condominium buildings next year. This is indeed a plus to
Cebu’s overall tourism development since more and more investments are coming in, plus visitors from abroad are enjoying the resorts, hotels and condominiums that are built to cater their taste and style. Of course, the warm welcome from Cebuanos is boundless.

   Not really… i figured it’s time for me to let our visitors know about the real estate industry here in Cebu.

   It’s actually flourishing and i bet there are going to be a lot more foreigners and balikbayans who are going to enjoy Cebu more.
