Real estate in Cebu
For years, I have been renting houses in Cebu now and I can’t help but think on where and what should I do to own one or two Cebu properties. Well, that surely is a handful when I talk about owning a property more than one but, who cares, anyone can dream right?
And me? I would certainly weight my options first before I just lush into my “own” home and stat there permanently. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to think about this until now since I’m already working and, perhaps, I’m already thinking about settling down. And what more would a “settling down” be than to purchase and stay on my own real estate in Cebu, Philippines.
Actually, I’m still eons away from owning one or more Cebu properties (better think more) here, but still looking for rooms or apartments for rent in Cebu is still in my mind. Of course, budget, accessibility, comfort and safety are major issues for me and I wouldn’t just stay in a place where I have to walk a long distance, wait for a jeepney then ride two more to get to my destination. In addition to that, I have to getaway from stray dogs who goes after me in the evening then finding laborers fixing a roadway using a jackhammer. Plus, my room costs more than my 15th day pay. Wow. That certainly is a nightmare. Hence, I would look forward to simply weight my options and just get an years closer to owning my Cebu house and lot.
· Renting in a Subdivision – Well, subdivisions in Cebu mostly features well-guarded hubs. Comfort would certainly be a plus. However, this will go to a minus accessibility since most of the subdivisions here in Cebu are, well, hidden away from landmarks like malls, churches and schools. Like I said before, I have to walk a long distance then…blah, blah, blah. Enough said. Anyway, that’s minus also to those budget-minded individuals. Landlords would certainly make a fortune out of you but, for me, it’s actually worth it with security, friendly neighbors and peace of mind. Budget-wise, renting in a subdivision in Cebu would cost me about $80-150. Heavy-budget rooms/apartments in a subdivision in Cebu would be S100+.
· Condominiums – This is still out of my league. I would need to rob a bank to settle in a place like this but it’s “reachable”. Also, when it comes to Cebu condominiums, good and great deals are present plus with pluses on security, accessibility and comfort and x2 that. Budget would be x2 as well but that’s already on my case. For those of you who have enough funds to pay 10 children, I suggest you look for excellent deals here if you’re thinking about getting a condominium here in Cebu.
Anyway, there are actually a lot of real estates in Cebu for sale. All you have to do is look for the best deal and you’re good.
