Most of the Cebuanos today are in love with their dogs, especially those cuties like the Maltese, Beagle, Cockapoo and Beagles. Yes, we all want them to have in our homes minus the cleaning but we simply cannot deny the fact that they are such lovely creatures and they are more than a pet actually.
Training our loved pets has always been around the place for years, but what about establishing a place to make them really beautiful. Of course, the pet spa.
To the fact that most Cebuanos are already fond of having pets in their household, there are already dog loving Cebuanos that found a way to beautify their loved canines. I, myself, consider this pet spa as a way of more than just bathing the dogs. In fact, most people consider pet spa as a destination of pet grooming like ear care, flea and tick removal, teeth polishing, blow drying, paw-decure (I didn’t know this exists) and hair care.
In Cebu, the pet spa industry is headlined by the Pit Dolls Bath House and Pet Spa in Banawa, Cebu. Not only they provide pet care but they also have pet food and accessories available. I have visited some pet stores that cater only to dog food and stuff but, right now, pet spas in Cebu are slowly growing. I should start my own pet spa perhaps, but I’m gonna have to find P500,000 for that. If that’s already been taken cared of, I could ask my Mom to help with my future pet spa business. That would certainly be a start.
Of course, one has to not only start their own pet spa establishment for pet spa sake since there is a significant need to know more about dogs. One thing that I have in mind is that, pet grooming should also be enjoyable as much as we enjoy being pampered in our own spas.
It actually occurred to me quite a long time ago when a TV news featured colorful pets groomed by pet parlors in their place. Perhaps now would be the time to think about how the pet spa industry works and its advantages and disadvantages. After all, those who have pets in their homes would certainly know how take care of their lovely pets.
Moreover, pet spas should be wary about the dog discrimination and not just entertain dogs that are lovely to look at. A pitbull is a dog too, so is the dobberman and the Great Dane. These dog breeds are often overlooked by potential adopters and it just wrong, honestly. As for the Pit Dolls Bath House and Pet Spa, they are open arms to every dog breed and that sure is a beautiful thing to know.
So, time to ponder for my future pet spa.
