SM Northwing visit
Finally, I was able to visit the newest extension of SM, the Northwing. I didn’t get to join its launching date but I heard it was quite an event, along with ABS-CBN’s Deal or No Deal show which was set on the Northwing’s parking lot.
The P1.3billion worth SM Northwing boosts an overwhelming space that is surely way beyond the usual Cebu mall. By the way, kudos to [Slemarken] of SSC-Cebu for the photos.
When I started my step towards the entrance, it really made an impression that this whole thing is entirely new to Cebuanos. More importantly, the SM Northwing will wind up catering to the class A market, which is could be considered as the hardest market here in Cebu. So now, both the SM Northwing and Ayala Center Cebu have certain features that prove to be another improvement along with Cebu’s rise to business prominence.

Statistics
When I finally got inside, there were still spaces for several business establishments waiting to be flocked. I bet next year would be the start of SM Northwing’s immense landscaping since there will a lot of investors willing to get into the Cebu market.
As for those who think twice about how really big the SM Northwing is, it actually stands on about 107,000-floor area and is capable of housing up to 187 outlets which are expected to get into the tune this month and next year. Moreover, SM has still a lot of plans for the future to cope with the growing needs of the Cebu market. The SM Northwing is basically a statement that, for years, SM has served a massive variety of consumers and ultimately became a by-word when it comes to the mall industry. It’s actually a world in itself.
By now, I’m pretty sure that I’m going to visit SM more often and mostly to its grandeur in SM Northwing.
