Metro Gaisano Incorporated opened its first supermarket and department store in 1982. Since then, they have gone a long way and now have 6 branches operating in the Philippines. The chain of stores is known to be the place to find quality and affordable products both local and imported. Metro Gaisano Colon is among the first branches located right at the heart of Cebu, which is also the oldest street in the Philippines.
