Up North: Catmon
->
Last year, I was invited to be part of a friend’s birthday celebration in Catmon. I disapproved of the idea without even an exact reason. A week after the party, a friend of mine told me about all the fun I had missed and I quite clearly regretted not being there with them. Anyway, last weekend, my family and all my other cousins and their families spent a day in Catmon. When the morning of that said day came, I wasn’t feeling pretty well since it was the Saturday before that and I was up all night with my friends over at my house, drinking the night away.
I wasn’t quite sure if I could force my body up but since it was the beach, I decided to just bring myself up and ready for the trip. I normally get conscious about how many hours a trip will take but believe me, I slept all the way to Catmon, therefore I’m clueless about how long it took. But in my case, I would say an hour and a half? Anyway, the beach house we stayed in was basically ours because we had the place to ourselves so we didn’t have to worry about being noisy and everything. Despite the fact that it wasn’t what you would call a “white sand beach resort with clear blue waters”, I still think that everything was perfect, especially when the grey skies turned blue and the sun came out. Riding the jetski and the donut ride was pretty fantastic, quite an unforgettable experience. I don’t mind going back to Catmon, by car or by bus or maybe even taking a jeep, it won’t matter because once you get there, you’ll completely forget about your troubles and everything else. Another place to be!
